A neighbourhood Italian runs on feel — the room at capacity, the pass under heat lamps, the table you didn’t want to leave. None of that survives a still and a caption. Fratelli Paddington asked us to bottle the feeling for the feed: a Paddington dining room at full tilt, in a format built for thumbs. The brief wasn’t a menu tour. It was an invitation.
We shot it like a service, not a shoot: dough stretched by hand, steak under the torch, plates landing two at a time. No resets, no tweezer styling — one night, cameras working the room while the kitchen worked the pass. Three films from that single service, each shot and cut native 9:16 so the flame fills the frame and nothing gets cropped to fit. Vertical isn’t an afterthought here — it’s the shape of the thing.
One campaign, one line — ‘We invite you.’ — three ways in. Not three ads so much as three variations on the same welcome, each cut to stand alone and land harder in sequence. The set is built to run as a season, not a splash: a rhythm the feed can keep, with room to extend as the menu turns and the nights get longer. The invitation stays the same. The table keeps changing.
