Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne

Partnership announcements usually mean a handshake photo and a press release. This one was bigger — Coinstash signing on as official crypto partner of the Sydney Roosters — and it deserved better than a logo lockup on a media wall. The brief: thirty seconds that feel like Friday night footy — tries, crowd, scoreboard — with the app sitting comfortably inside the action, not stickered over the top of it. A reveal that moves at match pace, because that's the pace this audience already watches at.
The build ran three disciplines at once. In 3D: an energy ring and a light-trail player, modelled and lit to sit inside the stadium rather than float above it. In 2D: type that lands like a full-time siren, motion design pulling the purple current through every cut. Then compositing stitched it all into the NRL broadcast footage — matched to the grade, tracked to the camera — until the line between what was filmed and what was built stopped mattering. The brand shows up the way a try does — fast, loud, worth replaying.
For a launch this size, the temptation is to say everything. The film says one thing and gets out. Thirty seconds of match footage and CG running at the same speed, then a single end card carrying the whole message — Coinstash, official crypto partner of the Sydney Roosters. No feature list, no fine print, no second ending. Just the partnership, stated once, loud enough to stick — the way a scoreboard states a result and lets the crowd do the rest.
Concept & production: CUT & RUN.
With gratitude to: Coinstash.
