The Art Goanna collection arrived with nothing to shoot: ten one-off NFTs, no physical object, no location, no talent to put in front of a lens. Each piece had to feel worth the bid before anyone had seen the chain — and each had to stand alone at auction while still reading as one collection. Two problems pulling in opposite directions: give every goanna its own gravity, and keep all ten unmistakably from the same world. A camera couldn't solve either. There was nothing to point it at.
A full-CG motion campaign, produced in partnership with Algopulse. We rendered the collection as floating geometry and impossible palettes — forms turning slowly in space, colours no lens would give you, light that behaves because we told it to. Each goanna got its own moment: its own camera move, its own tempo, its own corner of the shared world. Then edit and sound stitched ten moments into one film, so the collection plays like rooms in a single gallery instead of ten separate ads.
Ten NFTs, created and auctioned on Exa Finance — each one walking into its auction with a screen presence already built. The launch film led the campaign; cutdowns and social verticals broke the world into feed-sized pieces that still carried the palette and weight of the full film. For a collection with no product to photograph, that was the whole brief: make ten pieces of pure geometry feel worth the bid — then open the auction and get out of the way.
Concept & production: CUT & RUN.
With gratitude to: Al Goanna.
