Introduction
A footwear lookbook has to sell the shoe without ever losing the woman wearing it. Nine looks, one courtyard, hard midday light — Season 2019 asked for a director's cut of a season, not a scroll through the range.

The Challenge

The trap with footwear is obvious the moment you point a camera at it: frame the shoe and you lose the woman, frame the woman and the product disappears below the knee. Most season films split the difference and end up as a catalogue of feet — nine looks marched past the lens, worn by nobody in particular. Zoe Kratzmann's collection deserved better than ankle-height reverence.

Our Approach

We cut it as a day instead of a range: hard midday light, linen moving through it, a courtyard she crosses because she has somewhere to be. The shoes arrive in the frame the way they would if you were walking beside her — glanced at, wanted, never presented. Nine looks, one continuous afternoon, and the close-up only lands once the walk has earned it.

The Result

One shoot carried the whole campaign window: the full season film — a director's cut, not a highlights reel — seven cutdowns pulled from its best walking, and social verticals built for the feed rather than trimmed down to fit it. The collection got a day to live inside instead of a white sweep, and every frame, wide or vertical, kept the woman with the shoes.
